Preface
The Atlanteans recognized that their inner essence was not of this Earth. But in abusing the responsibility, conferred on them by virtue of their "higher essence" i.e. Spirit, which even the nature beings readily recognized and to which they allowed themselves to be subservient, the Atlanteans caused disturbances in their lives and in nature, which eventually led to their demise.
Also evident from this brief excerpt is how the Atlanteans thought and believed that they could safeguard themselves against the fulfillment of prophecy.
Hopefully readers of this account will see a similarity in modern man’s attitude toward the prophecies of our time.
No doubt some may dismiss the story of Atlantis as myth. But there is no refuting that this “myth” has had a great hold over mankind for millennia. With such a strong hold over so many generations, can anyone willy-nilly dismiss its existence, and the accounts that are now emerging about it; especially when these accounts bear so many similarities to what is unfolding on earth today, and could hold so many lessons for modern man?
The Excerpt
The course of time surges and undulates, and from faded millennia emerges O R O R U N The last king of Atlantis, in order to dissolve every error that still hangs over the fate of his former country
Far away, his pain shows in his serious features, while images of ATLANTIS arise before him:
Atlantis! A land shrouded in legend, disappeared thousands of years ago in the waters of the almost forgotten, but still alive in the memory of mankind as a faint distant murmur.
Atlantis reappears out of the sea!
Ororun, the last king of Atlantis, tells the story of his country, its prosperity and its downfall, to one who has been called for this.
By God's command, Atlantis sank into the sea in a single night and the following day. And now, the great ring of events was also to close for Atlantis.
Ororun was granted the grace of closing the ring by confessing the guilt of the Atlanteans, which led to their downfall.
And Ororun reports:
I was the ruler of the earth. Ororun means Earth Lord. My brother Orokun ruled the seas. Orokun means lord of the sea. His image stood high in the north. My statue stands in the south, where the sun burns fiercely and palm treetops crowd between the circle of columns. This ancient Atlantic place of worship has also slowly risen from the sea again.
We brothers lived in harmony, and divine powers flowed through us. But our subjects made us into gods, and we allowed it, thinking that it would be of use to the people and could not harm the Most High, who had revealed Himself to us. The arrogance of the people could not harm Him either, but to us it brought ruin and destruction!
Every nation falls by that which is its earthly greatness.
We were not the "first" people, as is often assumed, but we were what legends and fairy tales call Titans".
Like our comrades, the mighty giants, we surpassed the next generation in physical size, strength and longevity. We were completely in touch with nature and not only understood the language of the beings but also interacted with them as if we were of the same tribe.
Free and proud, we felt ourselves to be masters of the earth.
The beings were subject to us, the animals served us, or at least were not allowed to harm us. Thus, for example, the dragons, our living "aeroplanes", were guided by us. The most skillful among us needed only the word. They spoke to the dragon, told it the purpose and destination of the journey, and he carried them safely there. The others were allowed the animal a rein, which it took voluntarily into its mouth, more as a support for the rider than to be steered. But none of these animals could be forced. If man wanted to act as its master, if he even tortured it, then animal, bent on mischief led him to a wrong destination.
When the dragon was enraged, his breath boiled and shot out of his mouth like fire, scorching everything, that came near him. His most dangerous weapon was his tail, which he swept about and dealt deadly blows.
The stars shone for us to illuminate the darkness and as a guide to the times by which we divided our lives. In our time the stars were not so far away as they are now; for the Earth was much lighter then and floated along in the golden round circle.
If you imagine that the stars are moving away, you know nothing! The earth has sunk by your doings.
When the judgment is passed upon you as it has fallen upon us, destroying all that we had created, then the earth will rise again to the old heights, light and freed from all darkness.
We knew that we were not the first earthlings. There had been others before us - "animal men", whom we called by the scornful name of "Lemurians".
For many hundreds of years these animal men ruled over the other animals, from whom they had separated by virtue of the fact that their core was of the spiritual germ. And this spiritual germ gradually remodeled their outer appearance. The spiritual germ strove upwards from where it had come. That is why the animal-people no longer carried their heads down to the earth in search of tracks and food, but up to the Light, and slowly their whole bodies stood erect.
They walked only on their hind legs, which had to carry the whole weight of their heavy bodies. Then their paws turned into feet, their soles flattened and enlarged, and with that the climbing in trees ceased. The animal-men could no longer seek shelter and a place to camp under leaves and branches, and they began to live in caves. The front feet, which were no longer used for walking, were transformed into hands, which were also used for defense.
The Lemurians tried to drape themselves with animal skins and leaves. The consequence was that the natural covering of the skin, the fur, disappeared, only on the head, which they left uncovered, did the hair remain. Even with you humans of today the hair is disappearing because your head Is mostly covered. The animal people finally learned from the giants how to work with tools.
Before the Lemurians came, the giants had long, long been the rulers of the earth. They had told us that creatures from higher realms had formed the earth, the seas and the stars, and that they too, i.e. the giants, owed their bodies to these beings.
Then one day new beings appeared, similar to the giants but more finely structured, yet coarser and denser. The giants were terrified as they immediately recognized the superiority of the new creatures, who were better suited for the earth than they were. These new beings had bodies that adapted them to the Earth. The giants felt the difference as great superiority and allowed themselves to be made useful.
The new human race, which the giants considered so far superior, was us, the Titans.
The Lemurians had gradually died out. No judgment of God, no flood had swept them away, but rather the natural evolution of mankind had displaced them, who were the fathers of us all.
This did not happen at the same speed all over the world, and the same people had not emerged everywhere. Much depended on cold and warmth, on food and the like. We Titans were the largest race. All of the others were smaller than us, though not quite as small as you are today. But we called ourselves Erarians, which later became Aryans.
For hundreds of years we lived together in our empire with our helpers, the giants of nature, who we also called Risunians.
We did not know dwarves. Every race of humans has the beings around them that suit them. Our Risunians were uncouth, even in thinking. They were not so fine and delicate, but neither were they so cunning as the dwarves who later who later became the companions of men. Like children, they did what we asked of them. Childlike was their trust, which we later so often betrayed.
Woe is us!
For a long time the cooperation with the beings bore glorious fruit.
The immense power of the giants achieved what would have been impossible for us. Building homes was the work of the giants, just like breaking the stones, the diversion of water, the felling of great trees. They also helped to erect the places of worship, because we could never have put up the huge stones. They were particularly fond of doing this because they thought they were serving GOD.
Because the stone is like them in its essence, they understood the mastery of the stone to a degree that even for us bordered on the miraculous. Often they would place heavy, immense stones on a small peak, where they have remained floating and swinging for thousands of years. This was not a suspension of the laws of nature, but a deep knowledge of them.
At the beginning of the Atlantean empire there were only two kinds of inhabitants: the Erarians and the Risunians.. The latter, as I said, had to do all the hard work. They had to dig and process ores and precious metals, haul stones, build dams, they did all of this without not ask for compensation. They had only one great longing, to have a spirit germ like ours.
To this end, they occasionally demanded an earth woman as a wife knowing full well that they could not obtain a spirit germ. But through their descendants they could be granted this jewel. But such a request was never granted.
Gradually the giants were allowed to take part in our Services as a reward for their work. They had always come without permission and had often disturbed the Service. Now they were assigned to the ring behind the boundary stones, and their devotion was so great that it arched over the whole place of worship like an invisible dome.
Next to our earth kingdom there was a water kingdom, over which an Erarian also ruled. His royal palace stood on an island and was far more magnificent than that of the earth kingdom. His subjects were water creatures and animals. Among these beings were water giants, as well as lovely water women and water men inhabiting seas, rivers and ponds. In this realm, too, these beings too longed to possess a spirit germ.
We, in whom the spark from above was glowing thought ourselves ten times superior to the beings. What were the beings to us other than clever animals! We came from other realms!
That was fine as long as our superiority did not degenerate. But when our our behavior towards the industrious helpers was met with contempt they rebelled. They were no longer willing to do their work. Coercion brought indignation. Fights broke out in which we, the Titans, were victorious at first. But for how much longer?
Our astrologers foretold that a day would come for all Titans, without exceptions. We read in this the victory of the giants and braced ourselves.
My castle had stood for centuries. Giants had built it. Now we added the two outermost ramparts. The giants had to do the hard work, which seemed unworthy of us. We also extended the inside, and for the first time, the giants were allowed into the castle. This would have led to the final battle, had I not been warned by Orokun. So, I went out to the indignant ones with smooth words which made them keep working. I told that when the work was finished they would celebrate a great feast with us in the castle. They were as happy as children and did not notice that I was determined never to let the work come to an end.
The Castle’s tower served as a watchtower against enemies, a lookout tower to the world of the stars, and a dwelling tower for those who retreated to the fortress to fight. Mind you, only for us men. There was no place for women in Ororun's castle. That was the great difference between Orokun and me.
The tower was surrounded by a moat and six ditches which we would immediately fill with seawater in the event of danger. The tower was thus made impregnable. We could use our small ships in the trenches which we accessed through secret gates cleverly placed above water level in the ramparts.
The ramparts were completely hollow and served as storage rooms. The enemies could never bring their ships close enough to the outer rampart, and its distance from the watchtower was so great that no stone thrown from a giant fist could hit us. We, on the other hand, could hurl destruction into their ranks from our ramparts.
We had supplies for a long time, including water. Orokun's helpers had artfully diverted bubbling spring water from the land under the sea into our water cisterns. . Of this the giants knew nothing. Orokun's servants also brought fish and fruit in abundance.
What could we lack? We laughed at the prophecy! No man and no creature could have overpowered the castle.
But in one night, at GOD's command, everything sank deep, down into the sea!
