On the brink of change

The Christian world recently celebrated Easter, the singular event that signaled the beginning of the changes that brought down the then world order of the domination of the Roman Empire in the West and China/India in the East.

In the two thousand year interval since that event, the world has seen many empires rise and fall, like a game of musical chairs taking place among the usurping powers. However, one thing remained constant throughout this time, the spread of Spiritual Enlightenment. These were based on Christ’s teachings or that of the earlier and subsequent Messengers sent to teach and lead mankind back onto the path of Truth. Also, many religious institutions grew and expanded their influence and power over the citizens of the Earth, during this interval. But, as is clearly evident today, they too have failed to institute the Celestial hope of Happiness, Security and Freedom that accompanied the birth of many messengers, especially that of Christ, and the dawn of the first Easter, two thousand years ago.

The last 400 years have seen the emergence of science and social philosophies who have held out hopes and promises, but which have also failed to deliver, or whose failures are becoming visible.

Thus, there is no argument that, today, more people feel that change is needed, and is in the air. But the type of change anticipated varies by individuals and groups. Yet, it is fair to say that the nature of the desired or anticipated change falls within the three broad categories of some form of universal Happiness – Security – Freedom.

But, when we look closely at what these anticipated or desired changes mean for different people, it is easy to see the prospect for major conflicts emerging from the nourishment of the same expressed desires by the different groups. One person’s desire for Happiness, Security or Freedom almost invariably entails Misery, Insecurity or Curtailment/Bondage for another group.

So, what hope, if any, is there for the prospect for Peace and Stability with the coming changes?

Also, when the anticipated changes finally come, how will they manifest? What shape will they take? Will it be a new political, social or theological order? Surely the world has seen various shades and varieties of these orders, all of which have failed to deliver on their initial promises.

The Grail Message (“In The Light of Truth” by Abdrushin), the latest message to mankind, tackles this question head on. It affirms that the coming change will result in the establishment and maintenance of a GOD-Willed Peace and Stability on Earth.

From this, one can surmise that thus far human beings on Earth have not grasped the essence of what it takes to establish a GOD-Willed Peace and Stability on earth. This in spite of the fact that we are aware of and have all the teachings of the prophets and Christ’s.

Furthermore, many actually believe that they understand and are trying to live by these teachings. Yet our works clearly indicate otherwise.

So, how can Abdrushin be so sure of what he affirms?

Perhaps this excerpt from a lecture that he delivered on July 20th 1930 will give the serious seeker a clue and an answer as to the nature of the new coming change. One that many now sense but cannot visualize adequately or properly.

The excerpt from the lecture titled “The Cosmic Turning Point” states a follows:

 “……a foundation, out of which drastic upheavals must now develop. Must! For nothing is capable of bending or stopping anything of the further events, as it is not possible, to somehow disturb the moment of the great cosmic turning-point. It had to fulfill itself, so that everything now becomes new, what hitherto had gone the wrong way. And there is nothing on earth today that, according to God’s Will, could prove itself.

Everything is wrong! But it becomes new, even if the way there leads through fear and terror!

The deadline is around. We stand in the midst of the Judgement. Humanity does not notice it, because it does not want to see. But he who has eyes to see should make the effort. He will soon recognise, how surely everything is being driven towards the one point that brings the collapse of human knowledge and ability in politics, in the state and in the churches, in all sciences, in business-and bank services, even in social and family life! Everywhere! Nothing of it is spared. Even the art, which always had held itself up, is drawn along into the whirlpool this time, which must destroy everything.

And then breaks forth the new time!

Upbuilding from the ground up! Building blocks that cannot be used for the healthy construction, will be discarded forever! They remain laid down, so as to decay in the old place as a sign of most urgent warning!

Therefore, take care, that you are not also counted among these stones, which must be discarded! Stay awake! So that you do not fall into ruin with all those, who today still do not want to see. You do not know the hour, when everything gets to the point where it has to collapse. At the same time with it, every confidence and imagination of his hitherto self-glorification is taken away from man. Such haughty thinking must finally die in man!

No attention was paid to words and to warnings! Man shall now taste and devour the rotten fruits of his false work, until nothing more of it is left. But the greater number of people therewith go to the bottom. Not one of them shall be helped! They did not want it differently. But the remnants are stabilised and strengthened. Above all things, they will be strictly purified and in humility proceed into the new upbuilding, led by the Hand of God to peace and happiness.

Amen!”

Hopefully all readers have noted, the excerpt clearly states that the foundation for this new change will be laid upon the Will of GOD, not dependent on man’s interpretations or wishes, as has been the case up till now. Hence the inevitability of this outcome.

Also, with the establishment of this foundation, anyone who cannot, or does not wish to abide by the Laws of Creation (The Will of GOD) will not be allowed to continue to exist in Creation!

Thus, it becomes clear that the much desired, talked about and .longed for Peace and Stability can only be realized when all of mankind is living in harmony with the Laws of Creation.

Living in disharmony or contravention of these laws only result in disasters, as the world has experienced for millennia.

But, The Grail Message does not talk about disasters alone. It goes in greater detail to explain to anyone who is interested about the Laws of Creation, how they manifest, how we can learn to recognize and comply with them. It also points out that it is the individual’s responsibility and choice to listen, investigate and take the time to learn how to comply with the Laws in their true Spiritual sense, not in the religious or philosophical sense to which we have become accustomed.

Thus, belonging to, or expressing belief in a creed or philosophy will no longer count. And, when the much anticipated change finally comes, we shall each experience the result of our choice, which will then be evident in our way of living, and attitudes.

Given the comprehensive and incisive nature of this final change, one should not expect that it will come in one fell swoop. We are told that it will occur over a time frame, during which mankind will experience increasingly graver upheavals. This time frame has been set in order to give each person the opportunity to experience and recognize our true nature through our response to the events that we will each have to live through.

Aided by the renewed explanations and understanding of the Laws of Creation, given to mankind, hopefully we will then learn to recognize our true nature, and gradually begin to change ourselves (i.e. our desires and attitudes) to align completely in harmony with the Laws of Creation. This will then be the only criteria by which anyone can continue to exist in The New. Hence the certainty that only Peace and Harmony will reign in the New. This way of living will, in turn, result in Happiness – Security and Freedom because all who exist then will live in selfless service to another. And through this, Christ’s teaching of Love Thy Neighbor as Thy Self will be the norm for everyday and all aspects of living, and will also affirm Abdrushin’s proclamation.

Events in the Middle East which have been a source of major concern for the fate of the World, for some time now appear to be unfolding at a heightened pace and grabbing everyone’s attention.

Could today’s events portend more than a political crisis? Especially now that religious dimensions are increasingly being brought in with talk about Jihad, and the rebuilding the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem.

Regardless, anyone who wishes can see that the world is on the brink of some major event or disaster, given our common righteous commitment to the path of evil.
