Search for Answers – Part 7 of 7

Hopefully, the listener is now ready to accept or consider that the only way out of the cycle of crises for anyone, is to go back and search more vigorously for the Life-governing principles contained in sacred books.

Those who are not adherents of any particular faith, may wish to investigate the new source of knowledge, “The Grail Message”, (In The Light of Truth, by Abdrushin), which presents all the age old sacred principles in simple and clear language for anyone to understand and grasp.

More importantly, this book clarifies many misconceptions, and presents in detail, all the laws that operate in creation, and that are automatically triggered by all of man’s action, regardless of whether they are “good” or “bad”.

What is also new for many, and quite revealing, is the fact that, not just our actions, and words, but also our thoughts trigger these laws into effect.

The recognition of the effects of thoughts will surely be sobering for many.

But this awareness helps to explain the rapid spread of many behaviors which are thought driven and that are creating crises. And this is simply because of the general belief that thoughts can do no harm.

One can only imagine how this will play out, as ethical values and moral standards are eroded further.

“The Grail Message” also reveals that man’s desire for knowledge, which, ironically, is leading to some of the crises, is not just an idle curiosity. Nor is it initiated by the desire to live a rich and comfortable life on Earth, although that is now assumed to be the case as most people’s search these days is directed towards material acquisitions and comforts.

The original instinct for the pursuit of knowledge, is intimately interwoven with each person’s innate desire to awaken to a conscious recognition of him, or herself, as a human Spirit. This would ultimately lead to an awareness of his, or her, duties, and responsibilities, in the vast household of Creation, which The Lord Jesus Christ described as a house with Many Mansions.

But a proper awakening can only be based on Spiritual knowledge and recognitions.

Today's crises present opportunities for learning, towards Spiritual awakening and maturity. It is only ignorance that makes us see crises as a cause for struggle for self-assertion, or for freedom.

Ironically, the hallmark of a great leader in the earthly sense, for example, in business, or politics, is their ability to see opportunities lurking in adversities. So why should the same not apply to anyone in the face of their adversities?

However, it will be naive to think that just the knowing of the sacred principles is enough to deter us from getting upset, and caught up in the struggle for, or against causes that we see as unjust.

The sense of justice for many of us is still too skewed to appreciate regenerative opportunities that crises offer everyone, including the victims of the so-called unjust situations. Therefore, any serious Spiritual seeker must learn to fight against the urge to jump on the band wagon of any struggle. We first must gain conviction that even what appears to be unjust, offers the perpetrators, the victims, and the observers the potential for Spiritual regeneration.

This does not mean that we should not offer help to alleviate suffering, where such opportunities present themselves.

In offering help, one learns and teaches Love to all concerned.

Such actions go a long way to help us change our attitudes and help us redeem the traits that compelled us to experience what we see as the injustices around us.

It is only when we are guided by this perspective that we can help ourselves and others gain the regenerative lessons inherent in any crisis.

This perspective will also change our reluctance to compromise on our own realities, to serve the greater good. In fact, as more people become attuned to living by the fundamental Spiritual principles, there will be less conflicts, more similarity of thinking and attitudes, and less differences in individual realities.
