Confidence versus Believing in Oneself
This podcast explains the difference between believing in yourself and having confidence. It shows how popular psychology often gets their relationship wrong. Real confidence comes from knowing that you have help from others and from a higher power called Providence, which is something that is beyond your own ability. On the other hand, only believing in oneself might stop growth by making people less open to new ideas and the subtle details of each circumstance. True confidence is knowing that you are not alone and that you will always have help.
