You meet someone who you like immediately, or someone you instantly dislike, fear, or are very cautious about. But you cannot explain why. There is also the dynamics in a family or other social setting, in which we just can’t seem to please someone, or to forget a deep emotional pain that they have caused us. We feel the need for justice. The deep pain has created fears for our safety and vulnerability, making it harder to forget the wrong. Sometimes, we are afraid to forget a wrong, believing this means condoning the action. Or, we are waiting for an apology from the offender before we can let go. Even in all of this, we sometimes have a deep inner sensing to let go of our pain unilaterally. This is also a feeling that we cannot shake off. Is Life trying to tell us something, through all of this deep inner turmoil?
